The Colruyt trolley (internally known as the EasyShopper) sets itself apart from standard cash & carry carts in several smart ways. The trolley’s base structure has been specifically adapted to ensure full compatibility with Colruyt’s existing cart fleet.
Its transparent protective coating gives the metal a pleasant finish, while the ergonomically shaped handle offers a better grip than traditional round ones. What’s more, it’s made from antibacterial plastic to help reduce the spread of germs and minor illnesses.
A fifth central wheel was also added. While it may reduce the ability to steer diagonally, it’s essential for keeping the cart manoeuvrable and stable under heavy loads. Colruyt prioritised both handling and safety in making this choice.
The result? A trolley perfectly suited for both small and large orders at Belgium’s leading retailer.
